At Nexthink, we are redefining the future of the employee Digital Experience. Our platform helps some of the world's largest organizations understand and improve how employees experience technology every day.

We are growing our Business Development team in Boston because our current BDRs are being promoted into the next step of their sales careers as Client Specialists. That is exactly how this role is designed to work: come in, learn the craft, build your sales foundation, and develop toward inside sales and enterprise selling.

This is not just an entry-level sales role. It is a career accelerator for people who are hungry to learn, willing to be coached, excited to work hard, and ready to build something meaningful."

The Opportunity

As a BDR, you will be assigned to a territory and partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales leadership to create new pipeline. You will research target accounts, identify the right people to engage, personalize outreach, qualify interest, and create high-quality sales opportunities.

You will learn how enterprise software sales works from the ground up: prospecting, territory planning, messaging, discovery, objection handling, account strategy, and pipeline generation. You will also receive structured coaching, onboarding, enablement, and exposure to experienced sellers who can help you grow.

The best BDRs at Nexthink treat their territory like their own business. They know their numbers, own their process, ask great questions, learn quickly from feedback, and bring energy to the team every day.

What You'll Do

  • Clearly communicate Nexthink's value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Track activity, prospecting progress, and pipeline contribution in Salesforce and other sales systems.
  • Participate in sales meetings, forecast discussions, campaign planning, and territory reviews.
  • Learn from top-performing BDRs, Account Executives, Client Specialists, and sales leaders.
  • Use coaching, call reviews, role plays, and feedback to continuously improve your sales skills.
  • Build the foundation to progress into future roles such as Client Specialist, Inside Sales, or Account Executive.
Qualifications
  • Strong interest in SaaS, enterprise technology, sales, or business development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High energy, curiosity, humility, and a growth mindset.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Comfort working toward measurable goals and activity targets.
  • Ability to work independently while staying closely aligned with your territory team.
  • Willingness to make calls, write personalized outreach, ask questions, and learn from feedback.
  • Prior experience in BDR/SDR, sales, recruiting, fundraising, customer service, hospitality, real estate, or another high-activity customer-facing role is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Great Experience Could Include

  • Outbound prospecting, cold calling, or sales development.
  • Recruiting, agency work, fundraising, alumni calling, door-to-door sales, real estate, automotive sales, or other roles requiring persistence and persuasion.
  • Experience owning metrics such as calls, emails, meetings booked, conversion rates, pipeline generated, quota attainment, or revenue impact.
  • Internships, campus leadership, athletics, volunteer work, or other examples of initiative, resilience, and commitment.

Why Nexthink

  • Real internal promotion path: many BDRs have advanced into Client Specialist and other sales roles.
  • Structured training, enablement, coaching, and onboarding.
  • Exposure to experienced Account Executives, sales leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Opportunity to own a territory and build real enterprise sales skills.
  • Strong team culture with recognition, collaboration, and healthy competition.
  • A category-leading product solving a meaningful problem for enterprise customers.
  • A stable, growing company with global scale and continued market opportunity.
