Job description

The General Labor position at the Conagra Brands Oakdale Plant is an essential, entry-level role supporting multiple operations within the Operations and Sanitation Departments. This seasonal position plays a key role in maintaining efficient production, product quality, and a safe, sanitary work environment in a union manufacturing facility.

Assist in the processing of raw materials,
General sanitation of equipment and facilities,
Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met,
Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required,
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions to management,
Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met,
Understand policies and procedures as required

Good communication and teamwork skills
Commitment and adherence to safety rules and regulations,
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting items up to 50 pounds, etc)
