Job description

Night Shift
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus*

Primary Purpose

Maintenance Mechanics play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring equipment and machinery are in top condition. Level C Mechanics handle routine preventative maintenance and repairs while building a foundation for a long-term career. This role offers a skills-based pay model and access to certified training programs so you can grow your expertise and increase your earning potential.

Essential Job Functions and Duties

  • Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspection.
  • Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment.
  • Complete work orders as assigned.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management related matters.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or vocational training.
  • Entry-level general maintenance with 0-3 years' previous work-related experience, including on-the-job and informal training.
  • Understands the basic theory, practical knowledge, and skills to function as an entry-level mechanic safely and successfully.
  • Must demonstrate proven ability in at least one of the following technical skill areas: 
    • Maintenance Fundamentals
    • Electrical Power
    • Mechanical Concepts
    • Electrical Controls
    • Pneumatics
    • Hydraulics
    • Analog & Drive Control
    • PLCs
    • Welding SMAW
    • Welding GTAW
  • Possesses additional basic general maintenance skills including but not limited to welding (Arc/Stick/TIG), math for mechanics, assembly, conveyors, mechanical drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication and safety.
  • Certificates preferred.
