What You'll Do
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using tools such as multi meters and schematics.
- Conduct , painting, and other building interior maintenance tasks to ensure facility integrity and appearance.
- Repair plumbing systems including leak detection, pipe repairs, and system maintenance.
- Operate hand tools, electrical equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively.
- Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities upgrades or renovations while adhering to safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities; identify potential hazards proactively.
- Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance procedures for recordkeeping purposes.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with schematics, electrical work, and electrical equipment repair.
- Mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools for various repair tasks.
- Ability to read technical schematics and operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal clients or external vendors.
- Basic knowledge or training in refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical systems
(trade school, certification, or hands-on experience)
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
