Job description

Responsibilities

As a machine operator you will be responsible for:

·        Following detailed instruction, processes, and procedures to correctly produce parts

·        Mold, trim, inspect parts to meet customer requirements

·        Able to detect defective parts

·        Comply with policies and guidelines

·        Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or material to supervisor

·        Measuring, gaging, and inspecting parts

·        Use a calibrator to gage parts

·        Ensure work area is kept clean and free of debris

·        Perform other related duties as assigned

·        Have exceptional attendance (be to work on time, and take breaks at allotted times)

Skills:

·        Machine operator, mic experience a plus, or willingness to learn

·        Good vision and ability to use fine motor skills such as holding, grasping, and turning

·        Must be able to sit for long periods of time

·        Able to identify issues

·        Detailed oriented

·        Must be able to work overtime as necessary to meet strict deadlines with our customers

·        Good communication skills. MUST be a team player, one who gets along with others

·        Must be able to keep up in a fast paced production based environment

Advanced Metal Products is a locally owned small business that has been operating in West Bountiful, Utah for 26 years. While we prefer machine operator experience, we are willing to train the right person that will fit into our unique team. Starting pay is $15.00 depending on experience and attitude. Se Habla Espanol.
