Job description

The Entry Level Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery to pull parts from aluminum sheets and performing deburring to ensure parts meet quality standards. This role requires standing for the entire shift and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in a climate-controlled facility. The operator will work both independently and as part of a team, following established procedures to maintain equipment and ensure consistent product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machines to extract and process aluminum parts
  • Deburr parts by sanding edges to remove excess material
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure product standards
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain workplace cleanliness
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance as needed
  • Inspect machinery and parts for defects
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Maintain physical stamina by standing throughout the entire shift
  • Adhere to established operational procedures and guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in machine operation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of machine operation and deburring techniques
  • Understanding of safety compliance standards
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical stamina for prolonged standing
  • Ability to communicate in English effectively
  • Manual dexterity for precise handling of parts
