About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Designer to support the design and coordination of electrical building systems for complex healthcare and mission-critical facilities. In this role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop coordinated building system designs while gaining exposure to prefabrication, manufacturing, and industrialized construction methods. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to grow technically while working on innovative, large-scale projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and coordination of electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, and other complex building projects.
  • Develop and modify electrical drawings and models using Revit while participating in BIM coordination.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure integrated building system designs.
  • Support multidisciplinary coordination efforts to resolve design conflicts and improve constructability.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to technical design discussions.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, building regulations, and industry standards.
  • Support prefabrication and modular construction initiatives by designing systems optimized for manufacturing and off-site assembly.
  • Assist with project documentation, calculations, and design deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Coursework or experience in building systems design.
  • Experience with Revit and BIM coordination preferred.
  • Interest in pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Demonstrated interest in prefabrication, manufacturing, or industrialized construction is a plus.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
