Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our Patient Finance department. Optional remote work after training.

Our Mission: Ozarks Community Hospital and clinics are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and preventive services to all patients in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and dignity, with a commitment to care for the underserved and to improve access to care.

Under the Direction of the Revenue Cycle Manager, responsible for billing and/or collections of a specific area of Accounts Receivable, and other duties as assigned.

Benefits include:

  • Paid time off (PTO) earned on an accrual basis starting first day of employment, up to 3.5 weeks per year based on a 40-hour work week.

  • Minimum of 3 years specialized medical billing and collection experience preferred.
  • Data entry and word processing experience beyond an entry level.
