Coordinator of Community Supports

Alpine Learning Group | Paramus, NJ

Help Adults with Autism Build Meaningful Lives in Their Communities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Coordinator of Community Supports to help adults with autism access employment, volunteer, recreational, and social opportunities while building the skills and relationships that promote lifelong success.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine clinical expertise, community engagement, and staff leadership to make a lasting impact on the lives of autistic adults and their families.

Reports To: Director of Autism Services
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

What You'll Do

  • Develop individualized community opportunities in employment, volunteerism, recreation, and social engagement.
  • Build partnerships with employers and community organizations to expand opportunities for learners.
  • Assess learner skills and help develop individualized goals and ISP objectives.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train Direct Support Professionals.
  • Monitor learner progress, review documentation, and ensure compliance with DDD requirements.
  • Collaborate with learners, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support meaningful outcomes.
  • Assist with staff hiring, onboarding, and program development.
  • Support departmental initiatives and other responsibilities as assigned.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • BCBA or BCaBA certification preferred, or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism; adult services experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or staff training experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with community partners and employers.
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license.
