Job Summary


Join our Cafe! We are hiring:

  • Entry-Level Baristas
  • Experienced Baristas
  • Shift Lead Barista

Pay range: $17–$21/hour (based on experience and role)


This is a great opportunity for someone who is friendly, dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys working with people. No previous barista experience is required—we will provide training on our menu, beverage preparation, POS system, and café procedures.


In this role, you will welcome customers, take orders, process payments, prepare coffee and non-coffee beverages, and help maintain a clean and welcoming café environment. You will work alongside the team to provide excellent customer service and ensure each guest has a positive experience.


Duties

  • Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Take customer orders accurately and provide helpful service
  • Operate the café POS system to process cash, credit, and debit transactions
  • Handle cash accurately and provide correct change
  • Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages according to café recipes and standards
  • Learn and follow proper beverage preparation techniques
  • Assist with basic food preparation and safely handle food and beverages
  • Keep workstations, equipment, counters, and dining areas clean and organized
  • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
  • Restock supplies and help keep the café organized throughout the shift
  • Answer basic customer questions about menu items and café products
  • Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods
  • Perform other café duties as needed


Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous barista, cashier, or food service experience is preferred but not required
  • Training will be provided to candidates who are willing and eager to learn
  • Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude
  • Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable communicating with customers and coworkers
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions
