Job description

Industrial Technicians are theprimary workforce of OutKast and as such are trained to be versatile in thebasics of all operations. All employees are required to have a valid TWIC andstate issued driver’s license. An entry level Technician will be trained andhold the following responsibilities including but not limited to:

- Proper jobsite setup anddemobilization at the direction of the job Foreman/Supervisor;

- Adhere to and follow allOutKast IG Safety Policy and Procedures;

- Adhere to and follow allsafety regulations at any host facility;

- Correct use of hand tools;

- Maintain good housekeeping ofcompany equipment and jobsites;

- Correctly carry out duties ofthe Confined Space Attendant as needed;

- Correctly carry out duties ofthe Fire Watch as needed;

- Correctly carry out duties ofthe Bottle Watch as needed;

- Correctly use power tools asdesigned and specified by the manufacturer;

- Assist on all jobs underOutKast IG including but not limited to: Confined Spaces, Tank Cleaning,Pipeline Cleaning, Remediation, Painting, Manual Labor, and EquipmentOperations;

- Operate the followingequipment as needed: Skid Steer, Telehandler, Scissor Lift, Manlift, Excavator,and Dingo.

- Ability to safely usepressure washers, pumps, and vacuum hoses;

- Properly store and inspectpersonal PPE before each use such as: Respirator, Harness, Lanyard, Hard Hat,Eye Protection, Leather Steel Toe Boots, Chemical Boots, and Gloves.

- Read and understand theproject Site Safety Plan, JHA/JSA, SDS, and Operating Manuals;

- Take direction from theForman or Supervisor of the day/project;

- Ability to pass all requiredtraining as needed.

Other Physical Requirements:Lift over 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, work outdoors in wet / cold/ hot conditions, utilize stairs and work at elevated heights. Must wear leather steel-toed boots (Must cover the ankle), must wear protective eye-wear, hearing protection, may workin outdoors during inclement weather, ability to travel by vehicle orboat/barge.
