Job description

Inside Sales Account Executive
Austin, TX | Entry-Level Sales | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
Ever thought about a career in sales but didn't know where to start? Or maybe you've been selling for a while and you're ready for a base salary, real training, and a commission plan that doesn't cap out. Either way, we want to talk to you.
Olly Olly helps small businesses market themselves online, and we're looking for someone in Charlotte who wants to build a career, not just take a job. No sales background required. We'll teach you everything, starting with 30 days on the phones before you're running your own book of business as a full Account Executive.
What You'd Actually Be Selling
You'd be helping small business owners get found online: getting them showing up in local searches, running ads that bring in real calls and appointments, and giving them a clear picture of what's working. Every small business owner has the same problem: "customers can't find me." You're the one who fixes it.
Compensation
Here's what the pay actually looks like, not a "sky's the limit" number with nothing behind it:
  • $45,000 base salary, permanent, not a training wage
  • Uncapped commission on every deal you close, 170% of the first month's contract value
  • Realistic Year 1 total earnings of $75,000 to $90,000 for reps who hit activity targets
  • Base salary can grow to $85,000 as you hit production milestones, tied to your sales results
  • Top performers on our floor earn $300,000 or more

The Path: SDR to AE in 30 Days
A lot of companies keep new reps in a feeder seat for a year before they get their own accounts. We don't. You'll spend your first 30 days learning the product and the pitch on the phones, then you move into a full Account Executive role with your own book of business. If you put in the work, you're not waiting a year to see what this job actually pays.
What You'll Be Doing
The job is built around consistent activity. Day to day, that means:
  • Making 80 to 100 outbound calls a day to connect with small business owners
  • Learning a proven sales process and sticking to it, we'll show you exactly how it works
  • Building a pipeline and managing it like it's your own business, because it is
  • Working closely with your local sales floor and manager, not doing this alone

Who Thrives Here
This role is a great fit for someone who is competitive, coachable, and motivated by seeing a direct connection between their effort and their results. You'll get a proven sales process, hands-on coaching, and clear expectations, but you'll also be expected to apply feedback quickly, stay consistent, and take ownership of your results.
This is a performance-driven sales environment. Some days will be challenging, but if you enjoy competition, like getting better at something every day, and want to build a real career in sales, you'll have the opportunity to grow quickly here. People coming out of retail, bartending, restaurants, coaching, team sports, the military, or any job where they had to work as part of a team and talk to people all day tend to do well here. So do experienced reps who are tired of a capped plan and want a floor that actually rewards production.
Recent grads: no sales experience required. We'll teach you the sales process and give you the coaching and tools to succeed. What we're looking for is the drive to learn, compete, work hard, and keep improving.
Not a Fit If You
  • Prefer account management or inbound-only roles
  • Want low-pressure or low-activity work
  • Aren't comfortable making cold calls every day

Schedule & Location
The practical details:
  • On-site at our office location
  • Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM ET
  • First week of Training, 8AM-5PM ET, then you move to standard hours for the rest of onboarding

Culture & Perks
This floor doesn't run quiet:
  • 30,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art office space at our Charlotte headquarters
  • Flagship sales office with 55+ sellers and a high-energy, competitive sales culture
  • President's Club: an all-expenses-paid trip for the top 10% of the sales team every year, last year's crew went to Cancun
  • Strong leadership presence, with experienced sales leaders who have grown within the company
  • Regular sales competitions with real prizes on the board
  • Team celebrations, recognition, and happy hours
  • Recognized as a Built In Best Places to Work company

Benefits
And what's covered beyond the paycheck:
  • Medical, dental, vision, and mental wellness coverage
  • 3 weeks PTO plus 10 paid holidays
  • 401(k) with 3% company match
  • Leadership development and clear promotion paths
  • Weekly pay
  • Paternity Leave
