Job Brief:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Restaurant Barback. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting the bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of the bar. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with bar setup and organization:
    • Ensure the bar area is properly stocked with supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and napkins.
    • Prepare and restock ingredients, such as fruits, syrups, and mixers, for use by the bartenders.
    • Arrange and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning equipment and utensils.
  2. Support bartenders:
    • Assist bartenders in the preparation and assembly of drink orders.
    • Retrieve and deliver beverage orders to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Assist in garnishing drinks and adding final touches before they are served.
  3. Maintain inventory and restock supplies:
    • Monitor stock levels of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as bar supplies.
    • Assist with inventory counts and report any shortages or discrepancies to management.
    • Replenish bar supplies as needed, such as ice, straws, and napkins.
  4. Clean and maintain the bar area:
    • Clear empty glassware and used utensils from the bar and tables.
    • Clean and sanitize glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
    • Empty and maintain cleanliness of trash and recycling bins.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service:
    • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Assist customers with inquiries, such as recommending drinks or providing menu information.
    • Collaborate with the bartenders and waitstaff to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.
