Job description

Job Description
The Instrument Repair Shop is looking for student employees who can work well independently and with others to help inventory and maintain The Center for Music's instrument collection.
Job Description:
  • Checking in/out band instruments and accessories using FileMaker database
  • Assigning instrument lockers
  • Inspecting instruments for playability
  • Maintaining instrument inventory and instrument lockers
  • Cleaning and maintaining Brass, Woodwind, String instruments, Accessories, and Cases
  • Pay $16.15 per hour, 5-15 hours per week

Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of Brass, Woodwind, and String instruments
  • General knowledge of Windows Desktop and File Maker Pro helpful but not required
  • Must be Customer service oriented, and willing to enforce facilities policies
  • Center for Music students preferred but not required
  • Early morning availability (7:30am)
  • Summer work available
