Job description

Our client is hiring a Back End Developer to design, develop, implement, and support the back end of complex, scalable, and secure Kotlin/Java based web applications, working with the latest frameworks, languages, and tools.
This role is a great fit for a developer who wants to work on high-performance, multithreaded architecture in a casual, fast-paced agile environment. There's plenty of room to grow into areas like the latest AI APIs, image recognition frameworks, and cloud based platforms, alongside solid frontend exposure.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Solid understanding of API design, data structures, caching, design patterns, and multithreaded, high-performance architecture
  • Comfortable working in a casual but fast-paced agile environment
  • Java 11+ and Kotlin (coroutine expertise required for senior-level candidates)
  • Front-end experience with jQuery, AngularJS, or React (big plus)
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with REST API and SSO authentication, standard OAuth2
  • Experience with the latest AI APIs and understanding of current trends
  • Experience with image recognition frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
