Job Description

Developing new user-interface (UI) componentsย 

Building reusable code and libraries for future useย 

Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsย 

Optimizing application for maximum speed and scalabilityย 

Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to back-endย 

Creating and maintaining promotional banners throughout the siteย 

Building templates for new pages and page redesignsย 

Collaborating on email designs and coding HTML templatesย 

Keeping up with the latest technology (i.e. HTML5, CSS3, etc.)ย 


Requirements:ย 


Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related fieldย 

Proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Photoshop, and Dreamweaverย 

Experience translating prototypes and designs into clean, valid, and launch-ready mark-up.ย 

Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQueryย 

Ability to collaborate with the back-end development team to ensure tech and design are in sync.ย 

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.ย 

Passion for producing pixel perfect codeย 

Knowledge of CMS systems (i.e. WordPress and Joomla).
