Job description

Join a dynamic AWS Cloud Engineer opportunity focused on designing and delivering an end-to-end, event-driven data processing solution in a modern cloud environment. This hybrid role offers the chance to build scalable pipelines, work with containerized services, and support deployment across development, UAT, and production environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement an event-driven data pipeline that receives, parses, and processes configuration-based messages
  • Build reliable message handling workflows using AWS SQS or similar queueing services
  • Locate and retrieve the correct data files from Amazon S3 based on message content and business rules
  • Develop parsing and transformation logic to support data processing requirements
  • Integrate with services deployed on Amazon EKS and pass the correct payloads and parameters to downstream applications
  • Validate service responses and route outputs to the appropriate downstream queues
  • Implement logging, monitoring, retry logic, and error handling to support a stable production environment
  • Create reusable Infrastructure-as-Code templates using Terraform
  • Support development, testing, and deployment efforts across multiple environments
  • Collaborate with architects, DevOps teams, and business partners throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Participate in code reviews, deployment planning, testing, and production support
