Essential Duties:
  • Removes bearings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts.
  • Cleans hardware and other components in an aqueous or solvent based machine.
  • Removes paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast.
  • Assist other technicians with component repair
  • Assists other departments when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements
Skill, Qualifications & Experience:
  • No previous technical experience is required
  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English. Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines, manage a large volume of communication and be a team player.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities for moderately complex issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Computer literate. and proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills with ability to exercise informed risk taking in order to make judgment calls
  • Ability to prioritize and to work without close supervision.
  • Ability to read prints, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electric and mechanical machinery
