What does an entry level automotive mechanic do?

An entry level automotive mechanic assists with basic maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and replacing worn parts. They work under the supervision of experienced mechanics and technicians to learn proper diagnostic and repair procedures. In addition to hands-on work, they may help keep the shop clean and organized, and sometimes interact with customers to discuss their vehicle issues. This role is a great starting point for individuals interested in building a career in automotive repair.
