Job description

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to support and advance enterprise endpoint technologies in Ossining, New York. This Long-term Contract position focuses on improving device management, automation, virtual desktop performance, and end-user computing services across a modern Microsoft environment. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can strengthen operational efficiency, enhance security alignment, and partner with technical teams to deliver reliable workplace technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Build, administer, and enhance enterprise endpoint platforms across Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Establish and refine device standards, system images, configuration controls, and lifecycle practices to improve consistency across endpoint operations.
• Drive projects centered on endpoint transformation, Windows version advancement, virtual desktop tuning, and hardware standardization initiatives.
• Create and maintain automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools to simplify endpoint administration and reduce repetitive manual effort.
• Implement automated workflows for software distribution, patch management, device provisioning, employee onboarding and offboarding, and recurring support activities.
• Coordinate with ServiceNow stakeholders, IT leadership, security, and infrastructure teams to improve process automation, endpoint compliance, and overall platform resilience.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues tied to server and cloud dependencies, including authentication, file access, print services, remote connectivity, and application integration.
• Produce clear technical documentation covering architecture dependencies, support procedures, and escalation paths to improve knowledge sharing and reduce recurring incidents.
• Provide advanced escalation support for challenging endpoint, operating system, application, and virtual desktop problems while guiding entry-level team members and working with vendors or managed service providers.• Experience engineering and supporting enterprise endpoint solutions within Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong background with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, and related identity or infrastructure services.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages used for automation and systems administration.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows endpoint management, operating system deployment, patching, configuration baselines, and device lifecycle processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot cross-platform dependencies involving authentication, remote access, collaboration tools, and application connectivity.
• Familiarity with Citrix technologies and virtual desktop environments in enterprise support scenarios.
• Proven ability to document technical processes, collaborate across infrastructure and security teams, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
