Insight Global has a client looking for entry level degreed PETS. This is the first level of the Engineering classification. The Engineer will provide engineering/technical expertise to solve problems in the electrical utilities area, with close supervision. They are expected to develop skills in their field of study, and the ability to work with greater independence. They will be assigned to a project that requires utility pole design mapping. They will be given survey packets of the poles they are mapping. These surveys were collected by the people out in the field. With the survey packets they will know the geographic location of the poles and the different assets (wires, boxes, etc.) attached to each pole. They will use all this information to digitally create the design "distribution" map.
