Job description

$32โ€“$50 per hour | Top Pay for Proven Skill | Confidential Conversations

Ontario Auto Ranch Ford is expanding and looking for a skilled Automotive Technician with at least 2 years of structured shop experience who is ready to move into a higher-performing environment.

This is not an entry-level opening. We are looking for technicians who already understand workflow, diagnostics, and productivity โ€” and who are ready to be compensated accordingly.

If you are currently at a dealership dealing with unnecessary red tape, or in an independent shop with limited structure, inconsistent workflow, or unclear processes, this opportunity may be the right next move.

Our service department continues to invest heavily in equipment, training, and support to ensure technicians stay productive and can perform at a high level. We maintain a steady mix of retail and customer-pay work, helping technicians maintain strong flat-rate performance.

We are building a team of professionals who take pride in efficiency, accuracy, and continuous development of their craft.

Compensation

$38โ€“$50 per hour depending on experience, certifications, and diagnostic ability
Top pay available for technicians who demonstrate strong productivity and quality of work

Minimum Qualifications

At least 2 years of structured dealership or independent shop experience required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced professional shop
Strong diagnostic and repair ability
Professional attitude and consistent reliability
Desire to improve technical skillset through training

Certifications are valued, including ASE credentials

The Role

B-Level Technician
A productive technician capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Focused on improving efficiency, growing diagnostic skill, and becoming a highly respected automotive professional.

A-Level Technician
A highly skilled technician capable of handling advanced diagnostics and complex repairs with confidence. Produces high-quality work consistently and contributes positively to overall shop performance.

This is a performance-driven environment where strong technicians can exceed standard flat-rate expectations.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards
Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns accurately
Complete vehicle inspections thoroughly and consistently
Maintain organized and safe work environment
Work collaboratively with service advisors and team members
Continue training and development to improve technical ability

Why Technicians Choose Auto Ranch

Consistent workflow and strong car count
Competitive compensation aligned with real skill level
Professional shop environment focused on productivity
Paid training opportunities
Benefits that support long-term career growth
Leadership that understands technician workflow

Benefits include:
Health insurance
Dental and vision coverage
Life insurance
Disability and accident coverage
401(k) with employer participation
Paid time off and paid holidays
Employee discounts

Relocation assistance and toolbox moving support may be available for the right candidate.

The Right Fit

This position is for a technician who shows up ready to produce, stays focused throughout the day, and takes pride in doing the job correctly the first time. Someone who values efficiency, professionalism, and steady career progression.

We are moving quickly to identify the right technician. All conversations are confidential and respectful of your current employment situation.
