What You'll Do
You'll get your hands dirty learning the ins and outs of the automotive technician field. With guidance, you'll develop new skills to add to your growing toolbox. Other responsibilities include:
  • Serve as an entry-level auto tech performing light duty maintenance.
  • Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
  • Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush and vehicle inspection.
  • Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement.
  • Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.
  • Comply with regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and disposable trash.
  • Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts needed.

Who You Are
You love working with your hands and your mind. You're passionate about vehicle technology and love to stay up to date on best practices in the auto world. You also have the following qualifications:
Required:
  • 6+ months of related work experience.
  • The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.

Preferred:
  • A high school diploma or GED.

USD 15.10 - 22.69 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.10 - $22.69/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
