Entry-Level Automotive Technician / Oil Change Technician (Paid Training)

Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as Automotive Lube Technicians. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning about cars, and building skills for a future automotive career.

You'll work in a fast-paced automotive service environment helping customers maintain their vehicles while learning valuable mechanical skills.


Responsibilities

As a Lube Technician, you will help provide fast and friendly vehicle maintenance services for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance

  • Check and refill vehicle fluids and air tires

  • Replace filters and inspect basic vehicle components

  • Perform transmission, radiator, and differential services

  • Enter customer and vehicle information into the computer system

  • Explain services to customers and answer questions

  • Process payments for services

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

  • Follow company safety procedures

  • Assist with other shop duties as needed

Team members rotate through several roles including Upper Bay Technician, Lower Bay Technician, Greeter, and Cashier.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • Ability to read and communicate in English

  • Good customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to work well with a team

  • Dependability and willingness to learn

  • Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and move throughout the workday

  • Pay: $14.00 and up per hour based on experience + paid training and advancement opportunities

Automotive or mechanical experience is helpful but not required. All technicians must successfully complete the company Lube Technician training program.

This position works in an automotive service garage environment and involves exposure to vehicles, equipment, slick surfaces, and varying temperatures. Safety and cleanliness are top priorities.
