Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services on customer vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Observe and follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and other technicians.
  • Inspect vehicles for basic maintenance needs and recommend additional services as necessary.
  • Communicateย vehicle's maintenance needs and provide basic information on recommended services.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each job.
  • Keep work area clean and organized, including disposing of used materials properly.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment and tools in good working order.
  • Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work as part of a team, with good communication, interpersonal skills, andย flexibility.
  • Experience in shop or dealership automotive environment with a willingness to learn.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and valid drivers license.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts, up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, fast paced, and busy environment.
