Auto Damage Estimator


Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Auto Damage Estimator to join our collision repair team. This role is responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage, writing detailed repair estimates, and guiding customers and insurance partners through the repair process from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vehicles and assess damage to determine repair needs
  • Prepare accurate and thorough repair estimates using industry software
  • Communicate with insurance companies to obtain approvals and supplements
  • Explain repair processes, timelines, and costs to customers
  • Monitor repair progress and update customers throughout the process
  • Identify additional damage and write supplements as needed
  • Coordinate with technicians and parts department to ensure efficient workflow
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards
  • Maintain proper documentation and adhere to company procedures


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an auto damage estimator or in collision repair
  • Proficiency in estimating systems such as CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex
  • Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and parts
  • Experience working with insurance companies and DRP programs preferred
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
  • Spanish speaking is a plus!
