WHAT YOU'LL DO

General

  • Assist with audit and accounting engagements across a variety of industries
  • Organize workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation
  • Learn firm processes, systems, and professional standards
  • Support engagement teams while developing technical and client-service skills


You may start in one or two practice areas:

Tax

  • Prepare basic individual and business income tax returns with guidance from senior team members
  • Research tax questions and technical issues
  • Assist senior and supervisory staff with special projects

Audit

  • Perform audit fieldwork efficiently and in alignment with engagement objectives
  • Assist with financial statement preparation and supporting schedules
  • Communicate professionally with clients and engagement team members

Client Accounting Services (CAS)

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts; review general ledger activity and identify corrections
  • Process payroll, payroll tax deposits, and required quarterly/annual filings
  • Prepare accounts payable and support yearend workflows for federal and state compliance
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Accounting
  • Entry-level to 2 years of public accounting experience
  • CPA eligible or in process
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
