Job description

Position Summary: Entry level position providing IT Support. Provides a wide range of services to support, fix, and maintain hardware and software of an organization's computer systems.
Job Title: IT Specialist I
Department: Information Technology
Reports to: Shift Manager I.T.
FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt
License Type: Gaming
Target Pay: Start - $29.79 One Year - $33.10
Essential Job Functions:
  • Secures system data via backup operation
  • Creates and maintains Active Directory accounts
  • Administration of telecommunications phone systems, administers audio visual equipment, setup and removal of AV equipment for events
  • Installs, operates and conducts high level repairs to computer systems
  • Troubleshoots complex system problems and provides high level support to users
  • Maintains job logs and distributes reports to end users
  • Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems
  • Utilizes the incident reporting system as designed for problem reporting and change management accurately documents instances of hardware failure, repair, installation and removal
  • Follows and enforces all departmental standards, security, run instructions, backup, and recovery and shift turnover procedures
  • Responsible for installing or upgrading components, settings up software, assisting with network administration, and resolving all IT support issues
  • Performs other duties as requested or assigned

Qualifications:
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or technical school certificate
  • Two or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Functional knowledge of PC hardware and software, Microsoft Office Applications, Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, Google Workspace, Helpdesk Software, VMWare
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+ certification or other related IT professional certifications preferred but not required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment
  • Regularly required to sit, see, talk, hear, and use hands
  • Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
