The Opportunity:

The Software Associate Engineer supports the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications within a healthcare revenue cycle management organization. This role focuses on writing basic code, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in the implementation of software solutions under close supervision. The position applies foundational programming knowledge and follows established standards to ensure quality and reliability in software deliverables. Writes and modify simple code components based on specifications provided by senior engineers. Assists in testing software applications to identify and resolve basic defects. Documents code changes and maintain version control in accordance with team guidelines. Collaborates with team members to support software development lifecycle activities. Responds to routine technical inquiries and escalate complex issues for resolution. Participates in code reviews to learn best practices and ensure compliance with standards. Supports deployment activities by preparing scripts and verifying functionality in test environments.
