Job Title: Associate Project Manager

Location: National Harbor, MD (Hybrid)

Type: Full Time

Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 Base Annually + Quarterly Bonuses

At Cloudforce, we don't just deliver projects - we bring ideas to life with innovation, teamwork, and a touch of fun along the way. As an Associate Project Manager, you'll help keep our cloud and AI projects running smoothly, making sure timelines are met, details are covered, and teams stay connected. You'll work alongside passionate professionals, support cutting-edge initiatives, and play a key role in turning big visions into reality. If you're ready to grow your career and make an impact at a place where collaboration is key, Cloudforce is the place for you!

In this role, you'll work closely with Project Managers to drive project success - coordinating tasks, tracking progress, helping manage risks, and keeping everyone aligned from kickoff to delivery. You'll assist with client and stakeholder communication, ensuring updates are clear, expectations are set, and relationships stay strong throughout the project. It's a great opportunity to sharpen your skills, take ownership of meaningful work, and grow into a future project leader at Cloudforce.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in providing weekly project reporting to stakeholders, including status updates, key metrics, milestones, risks, and other considerations.

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information to support smooth delivery.

  • Maintain and organize project documentation repositories for internal PMO and client-facing artifacts.

  • Create and update project and PMO documentation as assigned, ensuring materials are current and accurate.

  • Work with technical staff to help break down projects into actionable tasks with clear timeframes.

  • Liaise with clients to support defining scope, requirements, objectives, and key project details.

  • Help ensure client needs are captured in documentation and plans as projects evolve.

  • Assist in analyzing risks and opportunities and communicating them to the PM and stakeholders.

  • Monitor day-to-day project progress and flag issues to the PM for resolution.

  • Track internal resource hours and assist in preparing burndown reports for stakeholders.

  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for the client, supporting the PM in maintaining strong relationships.

  • Attend and help facilitate key client meetings (including onsite meetings in the DC-Metro area as needed).

  • Use project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Microsoft Project) to assist in tracking schedules, tasks, dependencies, and resources.

  • Help maintain project risk registers under the guidance of the PM.

  • Assist in conducting quality assurance checks to ensure standards and deliverables are met.

  • Own projects and perform as a Project Manager on smaller-scale projects.

  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the PM and project team.

Qualifications:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience supporting or coordinating projects (or managing smaller projects), ideally in a technical or client-facing environment.

  • Strong and professional communication skills (both verbal and written) to support interactions with client stakeholders, technical teams, and subcontractors, while representing Cloudforce.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

  • Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, prioritization, and time management.

  • Strong client service orientation with proven collaboration skills across diverse teams.

  • Ability to serve as a liaison, meeting support, and facilitator for Cloudforce in both virtual and onsite settings.

  • Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools (such as ClickUp, Trello, Microsoft Project, Planner, Teams, SharePoint, or similar).

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working with technical teams and subject matter experts

  • Familiarity with project management fundamentals, terminology, and best practices (coursework or certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or equivalent are a plus)

  • Exposure to risk tracking, reporting, or resource management in a project setting

$60,000 - $75,000 a year
Subject to experience.
