Serves as a resource and teaches new employees and students. Assists in evaluating new test procedures. The individual in this position must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the patient. In addition, she/he must possess the ability to assess patient data relative to age specific needs and provide care as described in the department's policies and procedures.

Implements corrective action as appropriate. Performs and evaluates quality control data and implements corrective action. Ability to identify issues and processes requiring improvement.
