MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience:
    • 3 plus years of supervisory experience
    • Experience with heavy equipment and/or roll off trucks
  • Certificate/Licensure:
    • Valid driver's license
    • CDL Class A or B (preferred or required)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily supervision of all shift operations
  • Daily coordination and communication with company management and mill representatives
  • Training and supervision of all shift project staff
  • Responsible for monitoring and enforcing all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Act in a professional and respectful manner at all times
  • Continuously develop beneficial relationships with outside parties including customers, vendors, suppliers, and equipment related accounts
  • Identify, evaluate, and successfully pursue the most cost-effective operational solutions
  • Constantly coordinate with internal and external parties as required to efficiently and effectively meet the company’s project goals
  • Complete and submit any and all measurables and/or reports as required
  • Represent the company in a professional, organized, and confident manner at all times
  • Coordinate with, and disseminate information to, internal staff, client representatives, farmers, landowners, and regulatory agency personnel as required to successfully fulfill the companies contract obligations
  • Assist New Earth with other projects, and in capacities outside of the duties/responsibilities assigned to this role, as required
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Safe driving record.
  • Other duties as assigned and relevant to position.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Generally, the employee filling this position will be expected to be present at the project location for a 12-hour rotating shift and/or as directed by the Project Manager. May work extended hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Job functions will be carried out in a vast array of environments including but not limited to maintenance facilities, job sites, customer facilities, vehicles, agricultural sites, landfills, end user facilities, etc.
  • Frequently must push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.
  • The workplace is in a smoke-free environment.
  • PPE is required and must be worn as instructed.
  • Must adhere to all safety requirements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBIITIES:

  • All project level employees report directly to the Project Manager.
  • The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager with supervisory responsibilities as directed.
