Job description

This isn't your typical 9-5 job. This is a high-performance, intelligence-driven role for individuals who can think critically, act decisively, and execute with precision under operational pressure. The repossession industry plays a critical and often overlooked role in the U.S. financial system. It enables lenders to responsibly extend auto credit at scale-supporting loan approvals, reducing risk exposure, and maintaining stability in consumer lending markets. Without it, access to auto financing would become more restrictive and costly for everyday consumers.
At National Asset Recovery Specialists, Inc., we support that system through compliant, professional, and efficient collateral recovery operations. We are a trusted leader in the repossession industry, built on integrity, accountability, and results. Our team is composed of individuals who take ownership of their work and consistently perform at a high level in a fast-moving environment. If you are detail-oriented, resourceful, and motivated by results, this is an opportunity to build a career in a growing and performance-driven field.
Job Summary
As an Asset Recovery Intelligence Specialist, you will serve as a critical operational link within our recovery network-supporting both intelligence gathering and mission execution. You will analyze data, conduct skip tracing investigations, and identify vehicle locations tied to active repossession accounts. Most importantly, you will play a central role in routing and dispatch coordination, ensuring field recovery agents are directed to target assets efficiently, accurately, and without delay.
This role combines investigative research, data analysis, and real-time operational coordination with field agents. You will function as a key communication and routing hub between office operations, recovery agents in the field, and client stakeholders-ensuring that actionable intelligence is translated into seamless field execution.
Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth skip tracing investigations using credit headers, court records, proprietary databases, and vehicle/people location tools
  • Analyze and validate information to produce accurate, actionable vehicle location intelligence
  • Utilize LPR and recovery software platforms to support vehicle identification and tracking efforts
  • Lead routing and dispatch coordination to ensure field recovery agents are efficiently directed to target assets
  • Serve as a central communication hub between internal teams, field personnel, and client representatives
  • Monitor active accounts and proactively identify new leads, updates, and discrepancies
  • Perform outbound communication with customers, field agents, and client representatives as part of investigative and routing efforts
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of case activity and field outcomes
  • Support operational efficiency by ensuring real-time accuracy of information across systems and workflows

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base pay with guaranteed training period (first 60 days; terms based on experience)
  • Performance-based bonus and commission opportunities after probationary period
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Health insurance coverage
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Employee discounts
  • Training and professional development opportunities
  • Career advancement potential within a growing national organization
  • Monthly team lunches and provided office amenities (including coffee)

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (On Site)
Salary
Base salary starts at $45,000 annually, with the potential to earn up to an additional $10,000 in performance-based bonuses during the first year.
Requirements
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work nights Strong investigative mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in skip tracing, collections, investigations, logistics, or similar analytical roles preferred
