Assembler

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $20–$21/hour
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling finished products according to assembly drawings, utilizing hand tools and production equipment, and performing basic testing and inspection to ensure products meet established quality standards.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with entry-level assembly or manufacturing experience, as well as more experienced assemblers looking to continue developing their skills in a production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and parts into finished products according to assembly drawings and established procedures
  • Use hand tools, equipment, and machinery to complete assembly operations
  • Perform basic in-process testing and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
  • Calibrate timers and components according to Engineering Master specifications
  • Read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production specifications
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the assembly process
  • Coordinate with Lead Assemblers, supervisors, and other production team members to meet daily production goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow instructions and communicate any production or quality concerns to management
  • Perform additional production and assembly duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred; entry-level candidates will be considered
  • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and written instructions
  • Strong hand dexterity and ability to work with small components
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools and production equipment
  • Good basic math and numerical skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to retain instructions
  • Dependable with a strong attendance record
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Energetic, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to climb up to 10 steps and work at heights of approximately 9 feet when required
