Role Overview
The Remodeling Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding homeowners through the initial stages of their remodeling journey—from first contact to signed design agreement. You will build meaningful relationships, uncover client goals, develop conceptual solutions with our design team, and present clear, compelling proposals that reflect our craftsmanship and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, creating a warm, positive, and professional experience.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships through responsive communication, empathy, and follow-through.
  • Listen deeply to understand client goals, lifestyle needs, and investment expectations.
Sales Process & Project Discovery
  • Follow an established, consultative sales process aligned with Remodelers Advantage best practices.
  • Conduct in-home consultations to assess project feasibility and gather necessary details.
  • Educate clients on our process, timelines, investment ranges, and the value of working with a professional remodeling company.
  • Qualify projects for fit with our niche, capacity, and expertise.
Creative Solution Development
  • Partner with the design and production teams to develop creative conceptual solutions.
  • Communicate possibilities and constraints to clients with clarity and honesty.
  • Present design-build proposals with confidence, accuracy, and enthusiasm.
Proposal & Agreement Finalization
  • Prepare and deliver detailed, professional design agreements and project proposals.
  • Guide homeowners comfortably through investment discussions and decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and manage all leads through the pipeline.
Continuous Improvement & Team Collaboration
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, sales coaching, and Sandler training.
  • Provide honest feedback to improve processes and elevate the homeowner experience.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, materials, design innovations, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven success in sales, ideally within remodeling, home improvement, or a related design/build field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Excellent communication—both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read floor plans and understand basic construction concepts (or willingness to learn).
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in design-build remodeling, residential construction, or interior design.
  • Familiarity with project cost estimating.
  • Understanding of project management workflows.
What Success Looks Like
  • Maintains a healthy pipeline through proactive follow-up.
  • Converts qualified leads into signed design agreements at or above company targets.
  • Represents our brand with professionalism and joy in every interaction.
  • Collaborates seamlessly with the internal design and production teams.
  • Builds lasting relationships and earns enthusiastic client referrals.
Compensation & Benefits
    • Base salary + commission structure.
    • Company-provided training and professional development in Sandler sales technique.
    • Paid time off, holidays, 401K match, Medical Insurance and more.
    • A supportive team environment built on trust, respect, and shared success.
