Job description

Seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice to work alongside licensed journeyman on fire sprinkler system upgrades and installations. This is an entry-level position, but construction experience is required. Knowledge of fire sprinkler systems is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior construction experience is a must.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
  • Physical fitness for demanding tasks such as standing, climbing, lifting, pushing, and carrying heavy objects for extended periods.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and safety in installations.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols for personal and team safety.

Job Description:

  • Full-time position (40 hours/week).
  • Initial training period to familiarize yourself with the company’s practices and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, representing Rescom Fire Protection with integrity.
  • Install, build, test and maintain various types of wet and dry sprinkler systems.
  • Read and interpret engineered plans and specifications.
  • Problem-solve, develop solutions, and address challenges effectively.
