Job Title : Business Analyst (Entry Junior Level)
Location: Hartford, Connecticut (Onsite / Hybrid)
Employment Type: W2 (Contract)

About the Role-
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support successful project delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for entry level candidates, junior Business Analysts, professionals returning to the workforce, and individuals looking to transition into a Business Analyst career.
Key Responsibilities-
  • Gather, analyze, and document Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define project requirements
  • Create and manage User Stories, Product Backlogs, and Sprint activities in an Agile environment
  • Perform data analysis, reporting, and validation using SQL and Excel
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with QA and development teams
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives and workflow analysis
  • Maintain project documentation using Jira and Confluence
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams
Required Skills-
  • 6 months to 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role
  • Good understanding of Business Analysis concepts and SDLC methodologies
  • Experience with SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
