Job description

The people at Claris don't just build software - they build the infrastructure layer that makes Apple's AI story real in schools, enterprises, and government organizations. As part of the Enterprise Sales team within the Claris division, you'll work at the intersection of Apple's education and enterprise sales motion and one of the most consequential technology shifts in a generation: the move to AI-ready infrastructure.
Claris' Data Analytics and AI clustering platforms add a compelling component to Apple's strong story around AI, privacy, and security. We open new rooms, introduce new decision-makers, and help organizations understand what AI- ready infrastructure actually looks like in practice.
Description
Work alongside Apple's education and enterprise sales teams in the field - co- selling, co-presenting, and helping qualify strategic accounts across K-12 districts, higher education institutions, enterprises, and government organizations. You will position the Claris' emerging AI tools in the context of each customer's business, infrastructure, and AI ambitions.
Generate, qualify, and develop pipeline across all three Claris AI revenue streams - Pulse Cloud, Pulse On-Prem, and AI cluster licensing - and ensure that the leads you originate and qualify are developed with full context, a clear use case, and a warm relationship already established such that they can be carried to completion or handed off to Inside Sales teams.
Represent Claris at Apple's global Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) and conferences, delivering or supporting persona-specific demo narratives for incoming customer profiles. Show up at Apple-led one-to-many field events and qualify from the audience.
Help identify and engage organizations with executive AI vision and existing Apple silicon. Keep them engaged through the discovery process.
Convert pipeline generated through association partnerships into qualified accounts. These leads are time-sensitive; follow-up must be fast.
Log every meeting and customer interaction in the Claris CRM.
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional storyteller: You excel at presenting to diverse audiences, staying cool under pressure, and making complex concepts simple and engaging.
Deep ecosystem knowledge: You understand how our hardware, software, and services integrate, and you're passionate about sharing the Apple story and helping others learn.
Strategic business acumen: You are genuinely curious about how organizations operate, with a solid grasp of budget cycles, IT constraints, and AI ambitions.
Consultative sales style: You know that the best sales conversations start with listening, using curiosity to qualify opportunities effectively rather than just pushing a pitch.
Executive presence: You are comfortable and confident leading strategic conversations with senior decision-makers, including CIOs, Superintendents, and VPs of IT.
Brand evangelist: You are confident introducing Claris to leaders who may not yet be familiar with the brand.
Value-driven mindset: You are motivated by building meaningful, long-term solutions rather than just chasing the fastest opportunities in the funnel.
Partnership focus: You understand (or are eager to learn) Apple’s sales motion, viewing our partnerships as co-selling relationships that require care, consistency, and mutual value.
Familiarity with any of the following is a strong plus: K-12 or higher education technology, Enterprise IT procurement cycles, Government technology purchasing.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ minimum years experience in business development, enterprise account management, or strategic sales - ideally in a pre-category or market-creation environment
An entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a startup-like atmosphere on a small team
Demonstrated ability to work without an established playbook - you build the motion as you go
Consultative approach to customer engagement; you ask more than you pitch
Experience working within or alongside a channel partner model
Strong written and verbal communication - you can debrief clearly, document accurately, and present confidently
Ability to travel regularly for customer meetings, conferences, EBC appearances, and field events (up to 50% domestic travel)
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,300 and $209,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation. Learn more about Apple Benefits
