Build Specialized Clinical Skills in a High-Tech Procedural Environment
Are you interested in healthcare, medical technology, and hands-on patient care? As a GI Lab Technician in the Endoscopy Department at Deaconess Gateway, you'll play a critical role in supporting life-changing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while working alongside skilled nurses, physicians, and specialists.

What You'll Do
Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you'll help ensure procedures run safely and efficiently while supporting exceptional patient care from start to finish.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing procedure rooms and equipment for a variety of endoscopic procedures
  • Setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced endoscopy and video equipment
  • Assisting physicians and nurses during procedures
  • Monitoring and managing equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, and processing endoscopes according to established standards
  • Restocking supplies and preparing procedure rooms between cases
