Torch Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer/Analyst to join a team providing test analysis, reporting, and data-driven assessment of the Missile Defense System (MDS). This position supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Test Analysis and Reporting activity. As a Test Engineer/Analyst, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: * Analyze flight, ground, and simulation-based test data to assess Missile Defense System performance.
* Support the entire test lifecycle, including pre-mission predictive analysis, real-time test support, and post-mission data evaluation.
* Utilize existing and commercial off-the-shelf tools to process, analyze, and visualize complex data sets.
* Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to communicate test results and system performance.
* Prepare and present test planning documentation, readiness briefings, and performance reports to customers and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and government personnel in a fast-paced team environment.
* Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement through data analysis and reporting.
* Support customer objectives through effective technical communication and analytical problem-solving. Required Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or another technical discipline.
* 0+ years of relevant experience in engineering, analysis, data analytics, testing, or a related technical field.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
* Foundational knowledge of SQL and Python.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-tasking environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience creating Tableau workbooks and data visualizations.
* Familiarity with test and evaluation activities within a defense or aerospace environment.
* Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and a strong desire to learn.
* Experience presenting technical information to customers and stakeholders.
