Job description

This position is part of the Risk Products and Data Strategy organization within Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) and is responsible for supporting the oversight of CFR's Data Investment Plan, covering spend across third party data providers. 

The successful candidate will lead day-to-day expense management activities with a strong focus on financial accuracy, spend transparency, and maximizing value from contracted data assets. He/she will provide analytical support for contract negotiations, financial planning, and strategic business initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation and AI-enabled solutions. 

This position partners with stakeholders across the Enterprise, including Credit & Fraud Risk, Marketing, Finance, Controllership, Global Supply Management, and Global Servicing Network. It offers an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong financial proficiency to engage with internal and external strategic business partners and gain insight into credit and fraud risk management principles and practices.

  • Manage monthly expense tracking and forecasting activities for third-party data investments
  • Reconcile invoices by validating billing accuracy and ensuring prompt resolution of discrepancies with data vendors
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end accruals & expense allocations across multiple business groups
  • Prepare expense management, forecasting, and variance analysis reports for leadership and business partners
  • Support strategic contract negotiations through pricing analysis, and spend simulations
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes leveraging AI where appropriate
  • Support ad hoc financial analyses and strategic initiatives as needed.
