Job description

JOB TITLE: Entry Level Residential HVAC Service Installer (Full Time)

DEPARTMENT: Residential Service

LOCATION: Madison, WI

DESCRIPTION: Learn how to install, replace and perform routine preventative maintenance on heating, air conditioning and indoor air quality systems all while providing our customers with a high-quality experience. Advancement opportunities available based on job performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Arrive on time daily
  • Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Unload/load supplies and equipment
  • Wiring, soldering, piping, threading, and drilling
  • Duct, toilet, faucet, and water heater installations
  • Travel to various job sites within our service area
  • Perform all other duties assigned to the role

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Desire to pursue a career in the HVAC Field
  • Friendly demeanor and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer interaction skills
  • Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Technical skills preferred
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites in Wisconsin
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Committed to making a long-term investment
  • Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes required
  • Willingness to invest in tools
  • Ability to comprehend basic math/algebra skills.
  • Labor experience in construction preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Capacity to physically carry, lift, and push up to 75 pounds
  • Frequently required to stand and walk
  • Frequently required to bend, reach, stoop, or crawl
  • Physical strength and stamina to endure heat, cold and other weather conditions
  • Must be able to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds
  • Perform repetitive motions using your hands and fingers such as, but not limited to, grasping, gripping and holding
