Job description

Job Title: Technician Under direct supervision, the Vehicle Test Technician will support engineering efforts by performing routine vehicle maintenance, setting up and executing dynamometer tests, and compiling test documentation. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities + Perform basic vehicle maintenance to prepare for testing. + Set up and conduct driving tests on a dynamometer. + Assemble and submit documentation packets from testing. + Conduct routine tests and follow standard test modes. + Use mechanical and fabrication tools appropriately. + Perform minor/light fabrication and change vehicle part assemblies. + Learn and consistently apply proper testing procedures. + Work under direct supervision while managing daily tasks. Essential Skills + Automotive Technician experience. + Mechanical assembly skills. + Mechanical and electrical aptitude. + Vehicle maintenance expertise. + Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. + Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment. + Comfort using computers for equipment control and report assembly. + Ability to consistently execute driving tests. + Ability to work under direct supervision and follow instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Vocational certificate or Associate's Degree in a related field.
