PYTHON DEVELOPER/PROMPT ENGINEER

W2 ONLY - CANNOT DO C2C OR SPONSOR

HYBRID IN CHANDLER, AZ (ONSITE 3X A WEEK)

Description

A strong candidate may have started as a software engineer (Go, Python, or Java), moved into cybersecurity engineering or application security, and developed an interest in AI and prompt engineering. The ideal hire understands both the cybersecurity context needed to create effective prompts and the engineering skills required to build the workflows, pipelines, databases, and evaluation frameworks that make AI solutions work in practice.

Design, develop, and optimize AI prompts for cybersecurity-focused use cases.

Build AI evaluation harnesses and testing frameworks to measure prompt effectiveness, accuracy, consistency, and security outcomes.

Develop workflows and pipelines that integrate AI-generated outputs into enterprise security systems and databases.

Research and operationalize AI-driven capabilities for:

Attack surface discovery

Vulnerability identification and validation

Security control assessment

Defensive cyber operations

Create solutions that leverage AI to analyze security data sources, including:

SAST findings

DAST results

WAF telemetry

Attack surface intelligence data

Conduct research to assess and improve WAF effectiveness by simulating attack scenarios and validating detection coverage.

Support perimeter scanning, cyber engineering initiatives, and security automation efforts.

Develop methods for validating AI-generated findings while minimizing false positives.

Partner closely with security engineers, developers, and security researchers to automate manual analysis processes.

Evaluate emerging AI technologies and frontier models, comparing performance and identifying opportunities to improve cybersecurity operations.

Build and maintain integrations between AI systems, cybersecurity tools, databases, and analytics platforms.
