Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer who will be developing and managing both relational and dimensional data models, data warehouse/lake concepts and environments, data ingestion/in motion (ETL/ELT), AWS, and BI reporting tools. This function also drives solutions that reflect a strong understanding of data governance concepts and a mindset toward data quality and controls when considering how data moves and is stored.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Direct experience with AWS, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL, PLSQL, Python, Java and Informatica
* Exposure to common business applications and process (ex: transaction processing, CRM, etc.) in a financial services environment
* Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data processes to answer questions and identify opportunities for improvement
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Comfortable with transparent team collaboration
* Ability to work with Power BI / Tableau / OBIEE reporting capabilities
* Familiarity with AI concepts and related data solutions a plus but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
