Job description

Job Summary

We’re looking for an Engineering Technician to support production, engineering, and quality on the shop floor. This role is a mix of handson work, troubleshooting, and process improvement—you’ll be working directly with automation, EDM, and machining processes to keep things running and improve how we build parts.

You’ll help launch new jobs, fix issues, build tooling, and train operators. If you like being close to the work—not stuck behind a desk—and enjoy solving real production problems, this is a strong fit..

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Set up and calibrate machines and equipment
  • Run R&D trials and collect/analyze process data
  • Help design and build tooling, fixtures, and programs
  • Perform first article / first piece inspections
  • Develop and improve CNC machining programs
  • Troubleshoot process issues and support root cause + corrective actions
  • Support data collection and process improvements across production
  • Train operators on equipment and processes
  • Create and maintain work instructions, technique sheets, and specs
  • Support 5S and keep work areas clean and organized
  • Follow the Quality Manual and all safety requirements
  • Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives
  • Work with integrity and follow company code of conduct
  • Show up reliably and support the team where needed

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 2year technical degree or Bachelor’s in Engineering (or equivalent handson experience)
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Able to work independently and with the team
  • Quick learner who can adapt in a fastmoving production environment

 

Technical Skills

  • 3D CAD experience (NX preferred)
  • CAM programming (NX or Mastercam)
  • Solid understanding of GD&T
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes
  • Experience with inspection software like PCDMIS or Geomagic (a plus)
  • Comfortable working with data, reports, and documentation
  • Strong computer skills
