Job Description
A Lead Software Engineer job in Cincinnati, OH is currently available at Belcan. In this role, you will support our customer in establishing and maintaining a Digital Engineering Ecosystem - a secure, collaborative network enabling seamless coordination, data exchange, and situational awareness across airframe partners and government customers. This role focuses on developing automated solutions for efficient information transfer, ensuring data integrity, and creating dynamic dashboards for real-time program visibility. SECRET CLEARANCE is required for this position as you will be working in a cleared space. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain API scripts to configure and extract relevant data for transfer across diverse tools, teams, and networks. * Implement automated information transfer protocols optimized for throughput and aligned with program knowledge parity objectives. * Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the information pipeline. * Develop dynamic dashboards for real-time visualization of DEE data to enhance situational awareness and support timely decision-making. * Collaborate with partners, government customers, and internal teams to ensure secure and efficient ecosystem operations. * Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across multiple platforms and security classification levels. Required Qualifications: * Due to the nature of the work performed, U.S. Citizenship is required. * Must be able to work on-site. * Strong experience in API development, scripting, and data integration. * Proficiency in data visualization tools and dashboard development. * Solid understanding of secure network environments and permission-based access systems. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. * Active Secret Security clearance; candidates with a recently inactive/expired clearance (within the past 24 months) are strongly encouraged to apply, as eligibility may be reinstated through the standard sponsorship process. Preferred Qualifications: * Active secret security clearance. * Experience with Digital Engineering Ecosystems or similar collaborative platforms. * Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and government compliance requirements. * Knowledge of automated data transfer protocols and optimization techniques. * Background in cybersecurity practices for classified environments. * Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools. Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering an salary rate of $100,000 to $120,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
