Job description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist in Dallas, TX to manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice review, coding, entry, payment processing, and vendor account maintenance. This role is responsible for ensuring invoices are accurate, properly approved, compliant with company policies, and matched to supporting documentation while resolving discrepancies and payment issues in a timely manner. The Accounts Payable Specialist will work closely with vendors, branch locations, purchasing, operations, and accounting teams to support efficient processing, maintain accurate records, and manage outstanding invoices. Additional responsibilities include assisting with month-end and year-end close activities, preparing reports, supporting audits, maintaining internal controls, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Qualified candidates will have accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume, multi-entity environment, along with knowledge of ERP systems, internal controls, and accounts payable best practices.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume, multi-entity, or multi-location environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, invoice reconciliation, vendor management, internal controls, and accounting best practices.
  • Proficiency with ERP or accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm
 
Benefits: Available upon permanente hire 

Compensation:  $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
