You will join a three-year rotational program designed to meet all of your CPA practical experience requirements while working through your CPA professional education program. You are not doing it alone. You will be part of a national community of TELUS CPA students and alumni, supporting each other in reaching personal and professional goals. As you near the completion of the Program, you will have the opportunity to network with various teams and leaders across TELUS who will help guide you as you transition into a permanent role in the TELUS Finance team.

What you'll do

Though the specific responsibilities will change with the rotation*, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform financial analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for effective business decisions.

  • Drive financial reporting, budgeting, analytics, forecasting, and provide financial input to projects and business cases.

  • Partner with experienced TELUS Finance team members, receiving mentorship and guidance throughout the program.

  • Embrace continuous learning, developing a deep understanding of source systems and business processes.

Qualifications
What you bring
  • A post-secondary graduate in Accounting (class of 2026 or 2027) with a passion for pursuing a CPA designation.

  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Proven ability to balance work, school, and life commitments, while producing quality work on time.

  • Innovative mindset, eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Great-to-haves:
  • Work experience, community involvement, and team engagement.

  • Completion of CPA prerequisite courses.

  • Bilingualism (English/French).

  • Basic experience using AI tools and technologies to improve productivity and efficiency, with a strong emphasis on responsible and ethical usage.
