Join Our Team as an Interventional Cardiologist

Our organization, a prominent academic medical center committed to excellence in education, clinical care, and research, is on the lookout for an Interventional Cardiologist. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in complex high-risk indicated procedures (CHIP) and peripheral vascular interventions to enhance our expanding cardiovascular team.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive coronary interventional cardiology services, focusing on complex PCI and high-risk interventions, within a collaborative and high-volume academic setting. A background or keen interest in CHIP procedures, mechanical circulatory support, and peripheral arterial interventions is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient care in interventional cardiology.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary conferences.
  • Participate in shared interventional cardiology call coverage, ensuring equitable distribution among faculty, primarily focusing on coronary interventions and acute cardiovascular care.
  • Deliver clinical services at the main academic medical center and participate in satellite hospitals and outpatient clinics within our health system.
  • Support procedural growth and enhance patient access while ensuring strong academic and operational alignment with the main campus.
  • Teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Engage in clinical research, quality initiatives, and program development.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree (or equivalent).
  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
  • Expertise or a demonstrated interest in complex coronary interventions (CHIP).
  • Preferred interest in peripheral vascular interventions.
  • A strong passion for academic medicine, teaching, and clinical excellence.
